Rome was not kind to the shapeshifters. They conquered, and the avians, serpiente and Desmodus were scattered throughout Europe.c. 1150 - 1450 (Age of Liadan)
Liadan is founded by Jeshickah, Katama and Acise. The lions have their own "golden age" in association with Liadan. The earliest alliances between vampires and elavie come in to play, and the royal houses of the serpiente and avians are reclaimed by the Cobriana and Shardae lines.c. 1450 - 1800 (Inquisition)
With the help of elavie who have agreed to assist them, the Inquisition ravages Nyeusi through Europe. Some manage to hide, others to flee to the new world, but many perish in the flames, with the greatest devastation done to elavie.c. 1500 - 9/11/1804 (Age of Midnight)
Midnight becomes the dominant power in Nyeusigrube. This is also the height of civilization for the Azteka and the Shantel, the birth of the allied canis and allied felis civilizations, the rebirth of the avians and serpiente as independent nations, and the beginning of the fall of the shm'Ahnmik. This time period also marks the birth of the Bruja Guilds.9/22/1804 - c. 1900 (Second Dark Age)
After the fall of Midnight, New Mayhem takes over as leader of the Nyeusi. They mostly ignore the shapeshifters, many of which struggle with very hard times due to complete economic collapse.c. 1900 - Present (Age of Single Earth)
Those cultures to survive have mostly had to integrate into human society. One of the newest, most powerful groups in Nyeusigrube (despite those that mock it) is Single Earth. Individualism begins to become more important than nationalism, as humans do what Midnight didn’t, and pretty much run over the shapeshifter cultures. The Azteka and Shantel disappear from the map, and the shm’Ahnmik become so isolationist that people start to consider them a myth.
